The Unified Symposium, now in its 25th year is said to be the western hemisphere’s largest grape and wine trade show featuring an estimated of 700 vendors worldwide.
This year’s event held January 29th to January 31st, 2019 at the Sacramento Convention Center, provided wine enthusiast and winemakers with the latest trends and technology the industry has to offer.
For many this was the opportunity to meet with thousands within the wine industry from vineyard managers, owners, winemakers, general managers, marketing executives, tasting room sommeliers, and so many more.
During this year’s three-day event those who had attended experienced a new component, a keynote speaker luncheon held at the Sheraton Grand Nave Ballroom. This year Master Distiller Lance Winters from St. George Spirits kicked off day one of the Unified Symposium with his knowledge of ingredient-sourcing, packaging and marketing. Many breakout sessions followed outside of the exhibits covering topics regarding marketing, grape growing and business operations.
New exhibit and marketing tours where also added offering a focus on marketing, sales, and PR services available to the wine industry. For many within the wine making business understand the challenges of marketing their brand, wine and overall winery experiences. The symposium understands that every successful brand needs a stable of marketing and sales professionals on their side.
Overall, if you are looking for a myriad of ways to turn grapes into wine then the Unified Wine and Grape Symposium is the event for you.
The 2020 Symposium will shift to a new temporary location in Sacramento at Cal Expo to return in 2021 to a much larger and bigger convention center after remodeling has been completed. To learn more please visit: http://www.unifiedsymposium.org
