Yountville Arts Presents – Incorporating Poetry and Prose Into The Yountville Art Walk

Interested in having a short poem or prose published as part of our tour? Please submit a piece for consideration Submission Guidelines 1. Pieces are to be written to accompany any one of the many sculptures on the Yountville Art Walk. 2. All submissions are limited to 30 words, including the title. 3. Submissions should be a separate Word file with Times New Roman and 12 point font. 4. The author’s name should not appear on the poetry or prose attachment for blind review. 5. Submissions should include the name of the author and associated sculpture in the email only. 6. Pieces will be published as part of the Art Walk written descriptions and audio tour for one year or for the length of time the sculpture is on location, which ever is shorter. 7. The written piece also will be included in an annual ChapBook available in Yountville. 8. Authors may submit three pieces per year for different sculptures, and only one per sculpture. 9. Many sculptures are on loan and move. If you do not currently see the associated sculpture for your writing, please verify with Geoffrey that it still remains as part of the Art Walk.
