¡Viva Mariachi! celebrates the vibrant traditions of mariachi music while connecting the community to higher education. This cherished cultural festival showcases the transformative role of mariachi programs in fostering academic success and enriching cultural heritage. 

Featured Performers: 

Mariachi Luz de Oro (UC Berkeley, CA)  

• Student-run group returning to Napa Valley College after their debut in 2019.  

• Dedicated to promoting cultural diversity and inspiring future generations.  

Mariachi Aztlán (Pueblo High School, Tucson, AZ)  

• Award-winning youth mariachi program with over 27 years of excellence.  

• Known for their elaborate performances and authentic repertoire.  

Mariachi Las Mariposas (Garfield High School, East Los Angeles, CA)  

• An all-female ensemble embodying empowerment and cultural pride.  

• Performing at notable events, including the anniversary of Mariachi Divas.  

Celebrate the rich traditions of mariachi music at the ¡Viva Mariachi! Festival on April 12, 2025, at Napa Valley College. Experience the passion, culture, and community of this incredible musical celebration.
