Join di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art for an opening reception for Thérèse Lahaie’s The Lightbird Migration on Saturday, May 18, 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Held in di Rosa’s parking lot, the reception will feature wine and light refreshments. Joined by the artist, we’ll watch The Lightbird Migration take flight as the sun sets over the Carneros Valley. The Lightbird Migration, is a video projection by artist Thérèse Lahaie displayed on di Rosa’s exterior, nightly from dusk – midnight May 18 – July 13. Visible to passers-by on the Carneros Highway, the work features light forms resembling birds in flight in a nighttime migration.
