Mare Island PedalFest & Bike Swap

The Mare Island PedalFest is a family-friendly multi-pronged event dedicated to fans of all-things bike. From docent-led cycling tours on the historic naval base of Mare Island, to cyclocross races through the urban and park landscapes, to a bike swap featuring treasures new and old, there’s truly something for everyone. The event is free to attend and offers great “fan-viewing” of the races which start and finish waterside at the Mare Island Brewing Co. Enjoy a full day with good food, drinks and fun at PedalFest!

Four cycling experiences available are

1. Lap of the Shipyard – A family-friendly educational bike tour, ages 1-101 ($10 per adult, under 18 is free)
2. Kids Bike Rodeo – Kids only bike skills in enclosed area sponsored by Bike Vallejo, ages 3-12 (free event)
3. Urban Cyclocross races – Beginners to Advanced bike races – ages 6 and up ($20 – $50)
4. Bike Swap in support of the Napa County Bicycle Coalition

The event is dedicated to three nonprofit organizations, including the Napa Valley Vine Trail Coalition, the Mare Island Historic Foundation and the Napa County Bicycle Coalition.
