2025 Napa Race for a Cure 5k Run & 1-Mile Walk for MPS and ML, beginning at 10:30AM on Sunday, April 27th at Kennedy Park in Napa.
MPS and ML are rare genetic pediatric disorders that affect individuals’ ability to break down complex sugars in the body, leading to severe disability and even early death. Across the varying types of these disorders there are no cures. Some types do have treatment options available, while others simply do not.
Sponsored by the National MPS Society – a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children, adults and families impacted by MPS and ML – the Napa Race for a Cure 5K was created in 2016 by local families in Napa to help raise funds for research, to support families, honor those who have passed and to raise awareness in our community about these rare progressive and terminal diseases.
Packet pickup and day of registration will open at 8:30 AM. A picnic for attendees and volunteers will be held after the race! This event is open to individuals of all ages and abilities.
