di Rosa’s Expression Ball, hosted by ground-breaking fashion designer Christian Cowan and magnetic photographer Jock McDonald: an evening of glamour and creativity, where art and fashion intertwine in a celebration of philanthropy.

Description: di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art (di Rosa) invites lovers of art, fashion, food, and wine to an enchanting evening under the stars at the Expression Ball, a fundraising gala to benefit the Napa, CA art center. The event will be hosted by Honorary Co-Chairs Christian Cowan and Jock McDonald.

The Expression Ball is a fusion of imagination, art, nature, and creative expression, set amidst the stunning backdrop of di Rosa’s galleries and sculpture gardens. Guests are encouraged to dress to impress, from flamboyant to funky, Dadaist to postmodern, and raise funds in support di Rosa’s ambitious exhibitions, engaging public programs, and crucial collection of Northern California art. 

The evening kicks off at 5:30 pm with a red-carpet arrival. After making their way to the Courtyard, guests will be treated to a wide-ranging culinary palette from some of the Sonoma-Napa region’s best chefs and restaurants, including Angèle, Celadon, Elaine Bell Catering, Mustards Grill, Oakville Grocery, The Q Restaurant & Bar, Southside Café, Valley Bar & Bottle, Visconte Catering, and Zuzu, and wineries, including Atelier Ilaria, Alpha Omega, Bella Union, Bouchaine, Buena Vista, B. Wise Vineyards, Chimney Rock, DANA Estates, The Donum Estate, Groth Vineyards & Winery, JCB by Jean-Charles Boisset, Laurel Glen Vineyard, Mt. Brave, Muscardini Cellars, Opus One, Raymond Vineyards, Stags’ Leap Winery, Truchard Vineyards, and more.  

At 8 pm guests will enjoy opening remarks from fashion designer Christian Cowan and artist Jock McDonald, followed by a live auction featuring unique works of art and unforgettable experiences. The evening will conclude with drinks and dancing under the stars.
